Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, numerous, scattered, short and simple, sessile, with a conspicuous thalline margin, 0.50–0.75 mm long, 0.4–0.6 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–200 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 1 (–2) per ascus, muriform, 115–150 × 15–20 µm, I+ blue-violet. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid (major), protocetraric acid (major), atranorin (minor), connor-stictic acid (trace), salazinic acid (trace), stictic acid (trace). |

This endemic, corticolous species is known only from the type locality in north-eastern Qld. | ||
